This month, Keyaniyan Company and the long-established Hamburg-based company H.C.C.O Hanseatic Cocoa & Commodity Office have combined their competences in the trade of raw materials for the confectionery, raw mass, semi-finished and muesli industries: "The distribution partnership with H.C.C.O represents an optimal complement to our products and competences. The resulting synergy effects are the basis for our successful cooperation", Keyaniyan Company Managing Director Behnam Keyaniyan explains the strategic goal of the cooperation "and of course it is also about expanding the customer base on both sides".

Family-run in the second generation, H.C.C.O has made a name for itself over the past 70 years as a broker in the cocoa trade and acts as a neutral partner to the international chocolate and confectionery industry for the supply of raw cocoa, cocoa butter, cocoa mass as well as cocoa powder from almost all origins.

This results in many overlaps in the customer base of Keyaniyan Company and H.C.C.O. Most of the companies that H.C.C.O supplies also purchase nuts, dried fruits or baking seeds. Conversely, many Keyaniyan customers also need cocoa products or chocolate. H.C.C.O Managing Director Felix Christiansen says: "The markets for these raw materials are very different in their dynamics and require individualised advice - we can offer this from a single source through the cooperation, from which the customers benefit".
